Dilled Pot Roast recipe
Ingredients:
3 lbs of beef pot roast.
1 teaspoon of salt.
¼ teaspoon of pepper.
1 teaspoon of dill.
¼ cup of water.
1 tablespoon of vinegar.
3 tablespoons of flour.
1 teaspoon of dill (again).
1 cup of dairy sour cream.
Preparation Instructions:
Sprinkle both sides of the beef pot roast with salt, pepper, and 1 teaspoon of dill.
Place in a slow-cooking pot.
Add the water and vinegar. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours or until tender.
Remove the beef from the pot; then turn setting to high.
Dissolve the flour in small amount of cold water, then stir into meat drippings.
Stir in the other 1 teaspoon of dill.
Cook on high for about 10 minutes or until slightly thick.
Stir in the sour cream, then turn off the heat.
Slice the meat and serve with sauce.
