California Pot Roast recipe

Ingredients:

4 lbs of beef pot roast, with fat trimmed off.
2 tablespoons of flour.
1 teaspoon of salt.
¼ teaspoon of pepper.
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
1 medium onion, chopped.
2 large carrots, sliced.
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce.
1 cup of water.

Preparation Instructions:

Thoroughly dredge the beef in the flour, salt, and pepper.

In a large skillet, brown in the vegetable oil.

Place into the crockpot, and add the remaining ingredients.

Cover.

Simmer on low heat for 4 - 5 hours.
